EYFS enjoyed Dads and Grandads coming into our school to read to us. Once again we had a great turn out.
'Stay and Play'
Parents/carers came to our last 'stay and play' session on Friday 19th May. Everyone has enjoyed our sessions this academic year and we have received some fantastic comments from parents/carers:
"Stay and play gives me the opportunity to interact with my child in a learning environment and to see how they learn through a play scenario. The activities cover a wide range of areas and bring into play a child's different skills".
"It's lovely to have the children show us what they do around the classroom and what they like best. Lots to do, lots of variety with something for everyone. Thank you for allowing us this time and always making us feel welcome".
"Love seeing the children in the classroom environment and all their lovely work. It's great to see them working and learning whilst having fun. Brilliant ideas and always feel very welcome".
"It's nice to see my child in a setting where she feels comfortable. Their confidence shines when they're here and it's great to see".
"They have given me an insight into what my child does in the classroom and has given me fun ideas to continue the learning at home. I have enjoyed them but I also think the children have enjoyed them showing their parents what to do and what they have learnt".
"It is lovely to see the children's work on display, an opportunity to talk to the teacher and get ideas about ways of learning at home".
A BIG thank you to all the parents/carers who have been able to come to our 'stay and play' sessions.
