Our last Ofsted inspection was carried out in February 2007 and was very successful. The inspection reported that "This is an outstanding school because all the important features of its work are at least good and there are many examples of exemplary practice. The school is valued highly by its pupils and parents and gives excellent value for money."
In December 2010, our school was informed that Ofsted had carried out an interim assessment which confirmed that the school's performance had been sustained. As a result our outstanding result has been retained. Further intervention checks continue to take place.

Her Majesty's Chief Inspector of Schools Report
In January 2003 we were delighted to be included in the Ofsted Annual Report to Parliament. We are congratulated as being one of the very few particularly successful schools. We were the only primary aged school in Essex to be included on this occasion.
In October 2007 the school was again identified as outstanding in Christine Gilberts' Chief Inspector of Education, Children's Services and Skills Annual Report on school standards. The school was congratulated on achieving the very high standard of practice and thanked for all we are doing to raise standards and improve lives.
